I volunteer with Minds Matter Philadelphia because I believe access to strong mentors can change what a student believes is possible. When students have consistent guidance, encouragement, and people who take them seriously, they can go further than they ever imagined.

What keeps me coming back is seeing that growth happen over time. Week by week, students gain confidence, sharpen their goals, and start to carry themselves differently. It is rewarding to watch them develop, and it is even more meaningful to know that steady mentorship can help create those outcomes.
