Watching Confidence Take Root

I volunteer with Minds Matter Philadelphia because I love the opportunity to meet, mentor, and support some of the brightest students in the city. Each year, I am reminded that when students have consistent encouragement and people in their corner, they can grow in powerful ways.

Over the last three years, I have watched my students evolve with real momentum. I have seen them become more confident in who they are, clearer about what they want, and stronger in the conviction they bring to their goals. That kind of growth is profoundly rewarding to witness, and it is what keeps me invested in the program.

Minds Matter is not only a place where students prepare for what comes next. It is a place where they develop the belief that they belong in the rooms they are working toward. I am excited to keep supporting them and to see the impact they will make as they carry that confidence forward.
