Tony was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs. Though his varied academic and
professional pursuits took him from Virginia to Boston to Chicago to New York, he never
relinquished his love of Philly sports, culture, and cuisine. Fitting, then, that he relocated back to
the area in 2016. He joined the Board of MMP in 2018, buoyed by the prospect of enabling the
types of academic and personal enrichment activities that transformed his own underprivileged
upbringing many moons ago.
Tony spent the first part of his career in the reinsurance industry. At Aon, he led a global team of
risk analysts on client consulting engagements and partnered with colleagues across the firm on
a wide range of innovation and growth initiatives. He left the industry in 2018 to explore a unique
opportunity with an early stage tech start-up, where he helped to propel the firm’s efforts in
business development, pre-sales, product strategy, and marketing content. Tony recently joined
a management consulting firm, where he will focus on client consulting, business development,
and a range of strategy- and product-focused internal initiatives.
If he’s not working, there’s a good chance you’ll find Tony at the gym, writing poetry on a park
bench, watching old episodes of The Office, or spending time with his lovely wife CJ.
Tony obtained undergraduate degrees in math and philosophy, and graduate degrees in
philosophy and religious studies. Most recently he obtained an MBA from Wharton, where his
studies focused on innovation, marketing, and competitive strategy.
